Environment concept art we did for Teardrop Island in Off The Grid! We took the brutalist style and made it BIG - we put a lot of efforts in making these buildings feel monolithic, scifi, yet grounded at the same time. We had to push that sense of scale that makes these buildings feel ancient and recent at the same time. Working 100% in 3D allowed us to iterate on the scale & compositions of these monoliths fast, so that they felt imposing but natural within the terrain, level design wise.
