Off The Grid - Midtown Harbour Cargo Cranes

Sharing some of the cargo cranes area we designed for the Midtown Harbor in Off The Grid! These massive cargo cranes are the backbone of the harbour's skyline. We focused on making them feel functional and imposing, pushing the sheer scale of the shipping operations on Teardrop Island. They’re great for moving containers, but even better as high-ground vantage points for anyone brave enough to climb them.

We did several design iterations to show the evolution of these structures. We explored various mechanical configurations to make sure that they felt like functional pieces of industrial tech that belong in the world. They aren't just a backdrop, they're a playground for a tactical advantage ;) Thank you Gunzilla and Nikolas Gekko for the opportunity and art direction!
